Ninety days out, Dhaka Indie Fest was a spreadsheet, a venue deposit, and a group chat with too many unread messages. This is the story of how it became three stages and a sold-out Saturday.
The team's biggest call was moving ticket sales fully online. It felt risky in a market used to gate sales — until the data started coming in and they could see, tier by tier, exactly which lineup announcements moved tickets.
By show day, the question wasn't whether people would come. It was whether the gates could keep up. (They could — forty-two hundred scans, longest queue eleven minutes.)
